9·88 Films – an ultra-short film competition inspired by the Commonwealth Games men’s 100m record.
The Competition Site
Entrants were challenged to create an inspiring sub-ten-second film. The responsively-designed website allowed uploads and browsing entries from practically any device via a branded UGC platform.
Content Structure & Wireframing
Following content workshops with the clients, I outlined the site architecture, then iterated wireframes at different device sizes into an interactive prototype.
Interactive Design Mockup
To help the clients visualise the responsive nature of the design, I created an interactive design mockup that was adaptive at different breakpoints to be reviewed on a variety of devices. Take a look, and feel free to squish your browser in and out if you want.
As lead designer on the project, I created the 9·88 Films logo and identity, establishing a brand to complement Culture 2014 and evoke the short film theme.
